You Float Like A Feather In A Beautiful World

I have the shopping bug (well I have the shopping bug all the time, but Christmas + post-Christmas sales = happy times) and it seems everywhere I go I'm surrounded by things that I need to buy right this very second. The above dress (first pic) is a recent purchase from Sportsgirl (on sale, of course), which is a chainstore copy of the Camilla and Marc Cherry Frock (second pic). I'm in love. It is perfect in every possible way - art deco print, shoulder pads and a price that is insanely cheaper compared to the C&M version. Is the Sportsgirl version quite as lust worthy as the C&M dress? No, but I'm happy nonetheless.

This Girl's Inlove

Remember when Sportsgirl went through the whole Sienna Miller boho faze? Well thankfully it has passed. Now they've began collaborations with Elke Kramer, Romance Was Born, Tristan Blair and Cohen et Sabine, just to name a few. Above are some of the few items I'm currently lusting after. It's a Matter of Size

Big accessories have been seen everywhere lately, from Gucci to Dior, Dries Van Noten to Balenciaga and Prada. Oversized clutches, higher than high heels and my favourite, decadently embellished necklaces. The Chanel Plastron with resin and strass black necklace (top left) is the best I've seen so far. It's fantastically oversized, but not gaudy and the asymmetrical design makes it just the right amount of unusual. In all, the perfect statement necklace. Though not nearly as brilliant, Sportsgirl, Samantha Wills, Urban Originals, and Mimco all do their version of the embellished necklace and Urban Orginials in particular has a great collection available on their website. The All Things Sparkly silver necklace has to be my favourite.
