Then Falling Baby, We're Falling, Falling Away

I'm not particularly good at critiquing art/artists, however I do know what I like. Spanish artist Silvia Prada has recently released a book of her illustrations, fittingly called Art Book, depicting various images of pop culture. It's confusing and erratic and unbelievably amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on a copy.
Lyric: Falling Away - Big Scary

Love Sticks, Sweat Drips

Loving the latest 'Precious' collection by Deadly Ponies. Constructed from bone, silver and gold and moulded into skulls, wishbones and bullets, the collection is quirky, but most definitely cool.
Lyric: Kiss With A Fist - Florence and the Machine

You'll Love Their Touch Again

Sorry for the lack of posts these past few days, but my week has been filled with all things Uni related and unfortunately the blog has taken a bit of back seat. So to make up for my absence here are some images of Giles Deacon's dinosaur bag (recently seen on Katie Grand via Jak & Jil), which may possibly be the coolest and most lust worthy accessory I've seen in a long time.

My Current Obsessions

Perfection in a clutch. Perhaps a little sacrilegious, but when Tom Binns is involved does it matter?

She Don't Want No Rock'n'Roll

Pardon my language (Mum, I'm very sorry), but tonight I plan to do sweet fuck all and to celebrate I thought I would post this fashion editorial featured in the February 2008 edition of British Vogue. Enjoy.

I Wake Up To The Sound Of Music

It seems only appropriate that Alexander McQueen's final collection was full of his signature theatrical grace, classic romanticism and impeccable tailoring.
Lyric: Let It Be - The Beatles

If Love Was An Ocean Would You Have A Swim

It doesn't matter how many times I see these Miu Miu platform heels, I still get a little giddy with shoe lust. The candy floss pink, the sparrow print and crystal embellishment... can anything be more perfect?
Lyric: Burn Bridges - The Grates

Kenzo Fall 2010 Ready-to-Wear. One of my favourite collections this season.

You And Me Could Write A Bad Romance

Breathtakingly gorgeous behind the scenes images from Rodarte.
Lyric: Bad Romance - Lady Gaga

Though I Saw It All Around

For me, nothing compares to the 90's Miu Miu ad campaigns. The recent Lindsay Lohan and Katie Holmes (two names I had hoped never to mention on this blog) outings hold none of the innate simplicity that previous campaigns achieved so well.
Lyric: Don't Give Up - Peter Gabriel & Kate Bush

Come Up Off Your Colour Chart

I've meaning to post these images for quite some time, but needless to say somewhere along the line I've gotten distracted and these gorgeous pics of Abbey Lee have languished all alone, unshared, on my computer. So here they are, shot by Max Doyle for the March 2010 edition of Vogue Australia.
Lyric: Call Me - Blondie

Alone In The Dark

Playful and sexy at Versus.
Lyric: Jona Vark - Gypsy & The Cat
