I'm Staging a Comeback

Hey everyone, just letting you know I haven't forgotten the blogging world, I'm just on hiatus for a few weeks. Have fun blogging!

Leave At Your Own Chosen Speed

I'm not sure how wearable the Spring 2010 by Rodarte is, but fuck, when it's this stunning does it matter?

In the Firing Line of Lovers Who Will Never Slow Down

Adore the cocktail dresses by Bibhu Mohapatra. Such amazing tailoring.

Sorry Sunshine, It Doesn't Exist

I'm not usually an American prep kind of girl, but I'm quite impressed with Alexander Wang's edgier version. What do you think?

There Are Nights When I Think Sal Paradise Was Right

I've always adored the simplicity of Helmut Lang, but what I'm really lusting after are the shoes. Masculine and sexy and still feminine all at the same time. I want.

A Vinyl Sticker With Big Block Letters

I absolutely adore the bohemian/rock chick/Neil Young and Crazy Horse vibe seen at Erin Wasson x RVCA. What impressed me so much about the Spring collection (in comparison to Fall's) was the more concise reflection of Wasson's personality that resulted in a more cohesive, and in my opinion, more successful collection. Love it.

Making Life-Size Models of the Velvet Underground in Clay

There are times when you see a collection so insanely perfect and impossibly gorgeous, your heart beats that little bit faster and your breath catches. Australian Michael Angel designed a collection inspired by Nancy Cunard, Joesphine Barker, Tamara de Lempicka that was full of colour, structure and the highest of hems and was oh so lovely I might never recover.
Lyric: Expectations - Belle & Sebastian

Trouble is a Friend of Mine

Muse Magazine has dedicated its Fall 2009 issue to the insanely gorgeous Natasha Poly, and really who can blame them?
Lyric: Trouble is a Friend - Lenka

I'm in the Quicksand

One of my favourite early Kate Moss photographs. Just thought I'd share. Enjoy.
Lyric: Quicksand - La Roux

New Buys

I've had my eyes on this Shakuhachi studded cowl neck dress for months, but it wasn't until I saw it available on CocoLee.com.au for half the original price I decided to snatch it up. Should arrive on my doorstep in the next few days. Yay!

My Current Obsessions

I am currently coveting every single item in Giovanna Battaglia's innately stylish wardrobe. How can one woman own so many gorgeous clothes?

You, My Wayward Girl

Gotta love Carine Roitfeld. Anna Wintour never stood a chance.
Lyric: Piazza, New York Catcher - Belle & Sebastian

Puppy Love

No it's not Chanel, but my lovely friend Amanda's nine-week-old chocolate Labrador Jasper is a whole lot better. After playing outside (chasing a tennis ball, biting the leaves off of the bushes), he fell asleep inside, only to wake occasionally to play with his toys Moo and Chicken. Not even a pair of Burberry Prorsum leather and wood heels are this gorgeous.

We Are Not Here To Pray

Amazing aren't they? These limited edition, handcrafted Romance Was Born heels are currently available at My Catwalk. If I had a spare $500, these babies would be at the top of the list.

Bunny Ears & Opening Ceremony

Mary-Kate (right) and Ashley Olsen (left) rocking Maison Michel Mickey Mouse and bunny ears at the opening of Opening Ceremony's flagship boutique in Tokyo, Japan.
P.S: How amazing is Mary-Kate's studded bag?

It's all in the Nookie

Never thought I would be coveting a Nookie dress, but my goodness, isn't it lovely?

Curious & Curiouser

I realise the Pop editorial featuring Drew Barrymore is nearly a year old, but when the images are this gorgeous, who cares? Gotta love a 90's grunge Drew.
