Most Wanted

Panelled lace chiffon long tee dress by Shakuhachi. Quite possibly the perfect dress and my new must have.

New Buys

You may remember I asked for your opinion here about whether I should purchase the Shakuhachi lace and mesh cropped tee or lace and mesh dress tee dress. Well after much procrastinating I decided on the cropped tee (above) and am now looking forward to its speedy arrival.

Most Wanted

And speaking of black lace (refer to previous post, suckas), which do I want - the lace and mesh cropped tee or the lace and mesh tee dress (both by Shakuhachi)? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Returned To This Lonesome Ocean

Incredibly excited about the new Shakuhachi Spring/Summer 2010/2011 collection currently available to pre-order from mycatwalk. Shakuhachi (Jessie White) is one of my favourite Australian designers and every season I end up buying more and more pieces. I'm a sucker for anything draped, so you can see why the current collection has me all a flutter. Can't wait for summer.

New Buys

I've had my eyes on this Shakuhachi studded cowl neck dress for months, but it wasn't until I saw it available on CocoLee.com.au for half the original price I decided to snatch it up. Should arrive on my doorstep in the next few days. Yay!

Shakuchachi & Jessie White

I bought my first Shakuchachi dress late last year for a large summer wedding. I tried countless other dresses, but always came back to the grey silk dress with panel detail. It's beautiful, fits perfectly and the classic cut with a modern twist stops it from being boring. Since that first purchase I have fallen madly in love with Shakuchachi and Jessie White's designs. White's classic cuts and simple lines are embellished with modern details, such as gold studded sleeves, tie-dye fabrics and metal beaded panels. I am especially loving the Where The Wild Roses Grow Summer/Spring 2008/09 collection, the black panelled beaded dress (pictured above) is my current favourite. You can shop the current collection at mycatwalk.com.au.
