It seems I'm often apologising for my absence from this blog, but the sudden death of my Aunty three weeks ago has made this blog seem somewhat irrelevant. The past 18 months have been difficult, my father was diagnosed with cancer a year ago and we were all torn apart and put back together, all odd angles, torn edges and snaking cracks. He is healthy now, and for that I am forever thankful, but it made me question the validity of this blog. Without a doubt things have been irrevocably changed and however innocuous this blog is, I do love it. I love being part of this vast network of people who adore the same things I do, in all their
various ways. So forgive my absences, I'll always be back, but maybe not as often as I should.
